Established after years of practising landscape architecture and design, collaborating with inspiring mentors and visionaries across the field. Patrick founded the Kelektiv as an opportunity to make his distinctive contribution to both the industry and the natural environment.

His creative journey began in art and design school, where he discovered his passion for artistic expression across multiple mediums. He developed a particular fascination with art integrated into landscapes, how thoughtful installations can transform spaces and evoke wonder in visitors. This interest, combined with his natural affinity for the outdoors, led him to pursue Landscape Design and Horticulture studies in Cornwall, where the rich artistic culture and diverse natural environments provided the perfect foundation for understanding the relationship between design and planting. After graduating with First Class Hon's, he established himself in Jersey for six years, where he designed and constructed numerous medium and large-scale developments that continue to be appreciated today. Now based in London, he has expanded his portfolio to include projects worldwide, serving in senior leadership and director roles for well-established firms. His comprehensive experience has enabled him to design and deliver projects for high-profile clients and collaborate with renowned consultants across the industry.

Throughout his career, he has drawn constant inspiration from the brilliant creative minds of artists, makers, and fellow practitioner, cherishing the collaborative process when working towards a shared creative vision.

This appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration let to the founding principle behind Kelektiv, creating not merely a landscape practice, but a dynamic platform where landscape professionals, artists and creators, can work collectively while celebrating and maintaining their individual creative voice and expressions under on unified umbrella. Kelektiv represents a belief that most innovative solutions emerge when diverse creative disciplines converge with purpose of a shared goal..

Question’s

  • From my early days at art school, I’ve always felt the urge to forge my own path by starting my own creative business. I knew, however, that I first needed to build my knowledge and gain experience to have the confidence to take the leap. After many years in the industry, I now feel that the time is right to make that move and give it a go.

  • I chose the name Kelektiv to reflect both our process and our outcomes. It embodies the spirit of creation and collaboration—bringing ideas to life, gathering together, and experiencing space and environment as a shared entity.

  • I’ve been fortunate to work across a wide range of sectors throughout my career, from early-stage concept and planning through to technical delivery. In my early days as a landscape contractor, I managed, procured and built schemes in the UK and Jersey. This breadth of experience has given me the confidence and capability to offer services to a diverse range of clients, both in the UK and internationally.

  • I can’t say I have a single favourite sector or project. The ones I’ve enjoyed most are those that gave me a challenge and the freedom to innovate beyond conventional methods, where collaboration and engagement formed the backbone of the process. Guided by a shared mantra to create something really special, projects that demand deliver high-quality outcomes that have genuine positive impact on both the spaces and the people who inhabit them.

  • Beyond Kelektiv, I love exploring and experiencing different environments, whether that’s surfing the ocean, riding my touring bike across countries for days on end, or documenting the places and people I encounter through photography. I’m proud to be a family man and cherish sharing experiences with my son and partner. I also have a strong connection to the charity work I do, and I’m committed to supporting my local community.
